Soft Lift contraindications

Because Soft Lift combines a neuromodulator and Juvederm, you must read and

understand the contraindications of each product used in the treatment, which in summary are:

Do not have Juvederm portfolio if you have severe allergies with a history of anaphylaxis

(extreme allergic reaction), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or gram-positive bacterial proteins.

Do not have neuromodulator portfolio if: you have a hypersensitivity to any botulinum toxin

preparation); infection at the injection site; are pregnant or may be pregnant; are breastfeeding;

have a neuromuscular disease (myasthenia gravis and Lambert-Eaton syndrome);

have a motor neuron disease; or, use aminoglycosides (a class of antibiotic).

Non Surgical Facelift

Before the treatment

Because dermal filler and neuromodulator injections may cause bruising, it is best to book

your Soft Lift treatment at least 2 weeks before a social event. You should stop taking aspirin

or drinking red wine a few days before a treatment.

What happens during the treatment?

Before the Soft Lift treatment begins, a technician will take photos (used to document progress),

and a treatment plan will be devised. To make the treatment more comfortable,

a thin layer of numbing ointment may apply. The ointment will take effect in 10-20 minutes

and then your treatment will begin. Before each injection, an ice pack is placed on the injection site.

The combination of numbing cream and ice pack make the treatment quite comfortable.

Treatment time: Approximately 45-60 minutes.

After the treatment

Your skin may be pink and slightly swollen in the injection areas, but this will subside in about an hour.

Most people can resume their regular routine immediately (except for physical exertion)

and the most that is needed to conceal minor post-treatment effects is a powder foundation.

• Avoid lying down for 4 hours after your treatment ,  face down for 48 hours , strenuous exercise or activities for 4 hours.
• Neuromodulator results will be seen in 3-7 days.
• Minor bruising from the filler is usually gone within a few days, but in some cases can last up to 2 weeks.

Recovery time:  

No downtime required though in cases where bruising is more noticeable social downtime might be preferred.

Non Surgical Facelift

How many portfolio will I need?

The neuromodulator will need re-treatment in about 3 months. The Juvederm filler

will last 6-12 months depending on which product the doctor used.

Juvederm Voluma, for example, is the thickest of the Juvederm products, can last for more than a year.
